How Does It Work

Our FREE 12-Week Challenge is a plan to help you lose weight by creating healthy habits in a fun and EASY way! We use compassion and community to keep you motivated. MOVE a built-in way to exercise with team once a week (Ex: meet in a local park for 30 minute walk ) EAT a built-in way to stay intentional about what you eat GIVE a built-in way to feel connected to your community, meet once a month at a local food pantry for team volunteer event

Bring the 12-Week Challenge to the places you live, work & pray

Meet once a week to exercise as a group.

Make a list of healthy foods for meals and snacks (you like).

Donate Your Weight Use your compassion for others to power your motivation to lose weight!

Five Step Program BreakDown

Step 1

Bring the 12-Week challenge to the places You live, Work & pray

1. Select a team leader(s)

2. Decide on a start date for your 12-Week Challenge

3. Hold an intromeeting 2-3 weeks before your 12-Week Challenge begins

Step 2

Select A Food Bank Partner

1. Invite a local food bank, food pantry or soup kitchen to your intro-meeting to speak about Hunger (Food Insecurity) in your community and group volunteer opportunities

2. Schedule a team volunteer project once a month at your local food bank, food pantry or soup kitchen during your 12-Week Challenge, committing once a month gives you the motivation to lose weight and foster community.

Step 3

MOVE

1. Meet once a week to exercise as a group (Ex: walk/jog for 30 min at a local park)

2. Download your MOVE EAT GIVE Worksheet to create an exercise plan that you enjoy and that fits your schedule. Start by filling in your team’s weekly group exercise, then find four more days/time for YOU.

Step 4

EAT 

We eat more junk food when our stress is high and have no healthy food options on-hand.
Download the MOVE EAT GIVE Worksheet and make a list of healthy foods for meals and snacks (you like).
Try to focus on keeping your home and office stocked with these foods. Make healthy eating easier!

Cold hard fact:

Change Diets don’t work for  most people! Most people can lose 10 pounds on ANY diet, but gain almost all of it back shortly. Our biology & the ultra-processed food environment we live in are working against us.
Ultra-processed chemicals are designed to make you crave more ultra-processed chemicals.

Step 5

GIVE

Donate Your Weight – Use your compassion for others to power your motivation to lose weight! Come back during your 12-Week Challenge and select a food bank in your area to serve. Every $1.00 you donate provides up to 10 meals for children and families in your area!
