Plus, every wristband purchased provides 50 meals through Feeding America!
Cravings: When craving something unhealthy, take the Interrupt Hunger wristband off and put it on the other wrist. Drink a large glass of water & wait 5-10 minutes to see if the craving subsides. If the craving is still there after 10 min, it’s OK to eat. But hopefully, your rational brain has had time to kick in, so grab a healthy snack instead.
Portion Control: When eating meals, don’t eat until you’re full; eat until you’re no longer hungry -there’s a difference. When you first realize you’re not hungry anymore, take the Interrupt Hunger wristband off, put it on the other wrist and stop eating. Push your plate away or store in for later. If you find you’re still hungry later, go ahead and finish your leftovers or have a healthy snack.
Make a $10.00 tax-deductible donation to receive an Interrupt Hunger wristband and change the way you eat. When using the Interrupt Hunger wristband, be mindful of what your body is telling you. Learn to tell the difference between true hunger and unhealthy cravings, as well as when you’ve had enough to eat during a meal.
What Size to Choose?
I’m 5′ 11″, 185 pounds, average build & use a MEDIUM band. A medium is a little snug on me when first received, but quickly stretches to a perfect fit with use. If you’re significantly taller or heavier than me, then a large band will probably be a good fit. Small bands typically fit children 6-10 years old.
*If you receive your wristband & wished you chose a different size, email us at support@interrupthunger.org & we’ll happily send you another wristband (don’t forget to include your name & address).
